Mary Frances Lara is the owner of Gotta Lotta Enchiladas,Etc.
She is a retired educator whose lifelong dream has been to make authentic mexican food so that people can enjoy the delicious and spicy taste of enchiladas, tamales, tacos and burritos.
Mary was raised in Kleberg, Texas where her mother, Carmen, began Bernal's Mexican Restaurant and trained Mary in the fine art of cooking authentic mexican food. Tamales were made on Christmas Eve and enchiladas were served during special occasions such as weddings, baptisms and birthdays.
Mary enjoys serving large groups of people and hopes that everyone will order from her catering business. Her goal is to make the prices reasonable so that you can include Gotta Lotta Enchiladas, Etc for your next event.

Mary Frances Lara, owner of Gotta Lotta Enchiladas, Etc, was diagnosed with Stage III Breast Cancer on January 21, 2015.
She had 24 weeks of chemotherapy treatments which reduced her tumors by 50%! On October 12th she had a lumpectomy. Then she underwent 3 months of radiation. On April 14, 2016, her mammogram showed that all the cancer was gone! Praise the Lord!!!! Donate to the American Cancer Society. Fund the Fight! |
